What carbide-tipped circular saw blade should I use?

There are a couple of determining factors on what type of CT circular saw blade you should use for your project:

For Miter Saws

  • Finish Work - 80T to 100T, -5 to 5 Degrees Hook
  • Frame Work - 60T to 80T, -5 to 5 Degrees Hook
  • Decking - 40T to 60T, 0 to 10 Degrees Hook

For Table Saws

  • Rip - 24T to 36T, 20 Degrees Hook
  • Cross Cut - 40T to 100T, 5 to 15 Degrees Hook
